This morning, I'm off to take Mab to a specialist at the School of Veterinary Medicine to hopefully shed light on months of illness. Her regular vet has treated her but the problem persists. Hoping and praying it is nothing serious and can be remedied. I'm prepared to move heaven and earth to make her well.
Will be thinking of you two today and sending much love!
ReplyDeleteThank you Robin. She is already wailing and we're not even in the car yet. Going to be a long, long ride:(
ReplyDeleteYes, you know that you are already in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeletePoor little dear. My kitties and I wish her a miraculous recovery. I know how you feel, I've got 3 elderly lady felines and we have had many doctors visits this year.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! After a round of tests that included ultrasounds, the hospital gave Mab a clean bill of physical health. Her issues are apparently behavioral in nature.
ReplyDeleteWe'll see if we can't determine why her little cataloons are in a bunch.
Thinking of you and your precious girl.
ReplyDeleteJno - thank you!!! Hope all is well with you too.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the outcome?? Did they draw blood and do a THP?? keep me posted..sending her lots of good healing energy..lighting the candle for her at my Bastet
ReplyDeleteCatHerder - she'd had blood work done a few weeks prior; this doctor did an ultrasound, arthroscopic exam (she's had some back end mobility problems), a urine culture test (to rule out a UTI that is lingering and antibiotic-resistant). No health problems that they could find!
ReplyDeleteThey've concluded this is behavioral!!! Soooo, after all my confinements, etc. she has an appt. with a behaviorist.
