Cute little box I found in a local store - probably intended as a reindeer for holiday decor.
Made in Italy and wearing a Parrish Relics bracelet around his neck.
I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for white hart images. There's one by Susan Seddon Boulet of a white hart and a unicorn -- I might try to scan it for you if you don't already have it.
Love this "fabric" on your borders, I'd like to see a chair upholstered in it. And what is that fabulous item with the wattle fence behind the reindeer...is THAT a chair? BTW the teapot you mentioned on my blog DOES look like William Morris,,, I guess that is why I was drawn to it.
Luz - thanks and hope you do as well. Fala - $5. Am I good, or what? Hermes - thank you!! WOL - ooooh, I don't have that one - off to research it. Jeri - The border is a collage I did from two or three images; the griffons from an Italian tapestry. The piece behind the deer is a print from a medieval tapestry. Wish I had that in fabric form!
Well they say third time's a charm... The last two times I have tried to post a comment my computer lost internet connection so it was dropped off in cyberspace. I just want to say I am so happy to have discovered you! I love the medieval time period and am thrilled to have all your movie recommendations. I have gone through several of your earlier posts and am now a happy follower of your blog. I have also noticed that you have the supreme good taste to love cats. You might enjoy my blog where in addition to other things I talk about the heard of cats my husband and I look after, www.triciafountainedesign.com/blog/ By the way I do hope you Queen Mab is well. looking forward to checking in regularly, Tricia
Definitely do not seem to be doing well with the computer today. The above comment was meant for your most recent (Jan, 2011) posting. Oh well, must be the faeries having fun with me...
Tricia - Oh, I'm so happy to see you and I've been following your blog as well - I think the first time I commented was during the Practical Magic event. You are indeed the Feline Queen and we all thank you and your husband for being such great caretakers and rescuers.
Queen Mab is doing great - thank you so much for asking.
