WOL - thanks!!! I seem to do well with nature photography and outdoor shots, plus I love the subject:) I've had this camera a few years - a Canon PowershotSX10 IS and bought it on recommendation from a friend for the zoom capability and it does fairly good macros. That said, I've had no luck with night-time or low light shots at all.
Wonderful pictures! Are these birds in your backyard? I *love* wild birds (and squirrels too). I feed the little critters everday. The soft browns of the Wren's feathers are beautiful.
Lynn - thank you! I take my bird feeding very seriously:) and my cats are indoor only, so they birds have no fear. In a few months, I'll likely have a rabbit or two nibbling seeds on the ground. They are always a joy to see.
Wow! these are really good pics. I love the puffed up chicadee. I really need to get a decent camera.

ReplyDeleteJeri - Our mild weather is holding, so unless March has a surprise at the end, I'm ready to call winter done:)
