The Best Therapy

I've often thought that if we could somehow bottle and distribute the total euphoria and calm that comes from watching cats napping in sunlight, the world would be a much better place. Behold my bliss!
Frick (left) and his sister Queen Mab (right) - aka, Fricklette, Mabbycat. How I love them:)

  3. Oh yes... or "drunk on wood stove" as we call it around here... paws up in the air and belly exposed to gather up all the radiating heat. Nothing like cat-nap witnessing... !

  5. Oh, so beautiful! Every time I see Frick I think of my Dusty cat. For now I will have to make do with my German Shorthair Pointer Gracie. I took her to the vet yesterday. What an ordeal! She is just not leash trained. The other clients looked at me like, "Can't you control your dog???" Me: "No". Dusty hated going to the vet, not because of the vet visit but because of the car ride!!!

  6. Valerianna - oh that is an adorable term!

Jno - and we get to see Robin's this weekend:)

Jen - Wish mine would do the faceplant, just once!

Julie - What a coincidence! Growing up, we had a German Shorthair Pointer named Pluto. He lived to 18+ years. I so loved him. Bet your Gracie is adorable.

  10. Jill - Thanks so much. You have quite a house full!
The smallest cat or dog gesture (a head tilt, a purr) can certainly improve one's mood.
