Summer blahs

First, let me just say that I'm experiencing one technical difficulty after another with blogger. It seems they removed the "follow" feature and urge one to add urls. I get an error message when I attempt that, some old ones don't work, and now it says my browser is no longer supported. I really dislike upgrades and "fixes" when things are working fine for me. So, forgive me for not keeping in touch with you all; I'll try to remedy that and vow to not let another month slip by.

We've had a major heat wave in NC topping out at 107 or so - like many parts of the country;  but I did manage to get out and about to enjoy nature the week before. It was cool and lovely for about 2 days. I now have a rabbit who visits and is often side-by-side with the squirrels eating beneath the bird feeder. Such magical creatures.

  1. Oh my gosh, what a CUTE photo of the little bluebird. The bunny pictures are precious, too.

    1. Thank you so much Kristin. I'm sure you are a fellow heat-wave sufferer. Am I right? I think TX is always hot.

  2. We've been hearing about the storms and the heatwave in the US - do hope you are managing to stay reasonably cool. Love your photos of the rbbit:) I've been fed up with Blogger for some time but as they are now keeping the old interface up for at least a few more months I intend to stick with it as long as I can. Change is not always progress!

    1. Rowan - thank you. You know, I'm managing better than I thought. I've never been one to like extreme temperatures, so I keep my house on the warm side so going outdoors isn't such a shock. Rather relieved to hear the blogger problems isn't just me; I've been unable to leave comments on some blogs for some time now. It certainly makes communication difficult.
