Morris Monday

Delightful William Morris prints in 100% cotton sourced at local fabric stores. I thought I'd use it to line bags, but it is too pretty to hide. Made little closet sachets instead, filled with lavender and cords for easy hanging in the closet (or a doorknob). The lovely Strawberry Thief was gifted by dear friend Robin.

Lavender filled sachets. I may eventually add some to my Etsy shop.

Briar Rose in two colorways.
Queen Mab, my muse, proclaiming the office chair hers.

  2. Beautiful. I have a small notebook that I call the "What If &* Dreaming" book that has a Morris print on it. Whenever I pick it up, I seem to spend a few moments losing myself in the extraordinary design.

  3. Queen Mab looks quite regal on her perch. *Winks* And I'm loving those delightful prints, yes, too pretty to hide away in every creation, though having them as the surprise on the interior of a creation would be fun too.

Thanks for stopping by my Tranquility Tour through Jerome, which I'll be posting on for several more days since it is like a wonderful Dream you never want to wake up from and can't wait to return to again and again... as one Blog Friend dubbed it *and I liked so much I'm borrowing the phrase, winks* it is the Disneyland Of Funky Places. *Smiles*

  5. I love William Morris fabrics and those sachets are gorgeous - they have a really medieval look to them. William Morris was an interesting man and I'm fascinated by all the Pre-Raphaelites. If you are ever in England visit Kelmscott Manor his country home in Oxfordshire. It's a magical place full of original possessions and furniture and lots of the needlework done by Jane and May Morris. It also has a great gift shop:)
